murderock, Open ClonyXXL and go to Options/Tools>Deactivate ASPI driver. Close ClonyXXL>Open and see if you encounter same problems. Shoey

murderock, The deactivation of ASPI for ClonyXXL is for ClonyXXL [bold] only [/bold] and not your O/S. Installing ASPI (again) won't hurt your system m8. If it were me I would search out ASPI 4.6 at Google... Shoey
ok tks but i still have a prombem with alcohol 120%, clonyxxl and ASPI 4.71.2 when ive downloaded and installed the programs i cant load any of my games (with main discs). do i have to keep uninstalling when i what to play a game? thks 4 help

k ive looked in c:unzipped and its not there but ive extracted the file and i can only install or exit (not uninstall or reinstall) and once ive installed and i load clonyxxl it comes up with no aspi loaded!
hi when you click the downloaded file it should come up like this! then where you sent the unzipped file too click the install .EXE then use the checker to see what version is loaded! and its ok! =================================== then you unzip clony to a folder of your chioce, then if the windows ASPI layer wont work clony like i had! do this get the ASPI layer file from NERO folder and copy and paste it into the clony folder! let us know what happens! Thxx ============================================ @ SHOEY I dont know about you matey but i have noticed a big trend on here reading furoms that alot of people are getting the "CANT LOAD ORIGINAL GAME CD'S" after they attempt to backup there discs? there must be something in this as i read a couple and thought oh well it must be just something on there setup wrong maybe? but i think not i think this whole thing is intentional! as there are more and more reports of this now! to do with on the part of prevention of coping disc? have you noticed lots of reports on the "cant install originals?"

ok, when i clicked on clonyxxl this came up NEROAPIX 'could not open driver. tring system ASPI' then when i click OK clony loaded in german and how it was loading before.
I've noticed the increase in post concerning this issue Rotary but I've yet to encounter such a problem. Many new pc games are on the "blacklist" for those using emulation (1 sheep burner)with a virtual stealth drive(s) thus the backup just won't play. I don't have an answer as to why this occurs but pointers. First, if you own the original pc game and it is either Safedisc 2.x or SecuROM 4.7-4.8x cd protected, [bold] intall from your dvd\cd-rom (if applicable) [/bold]. Secondly and most important, if your serious about backing up cd protection then get a "2 sheep burner"= eliminates the need of emulation and your backups will play on your secondary, other pc's (most of the time). Here are some popular brand 2 sheep burners. 1) Lite-ON 40/48/52x 2) Asus 40/48/52x 3) Memorex MAXX 40/48/52x 4) Polaroid BurnMAX 40/48/52x 5) BTC 40/48x Shoey Rotary, is it possible you can provide me a temp website so I can upload bwa files?
