For auction is a new Linksys WRT54GS version 5 router, that is running DD-WRT firmware. The reason for the sale is that 1)After acquiring the router I was given a much more powerful router and didn't require the trusty DD-WRT linksys anymore. and 2)I am a college student who could use the cash from this sale more than the router.

Here is a link for the Linksys WRT54GS spec list.

If you are asking what is DD-WRT? DD-WRT is a custom firmware that enables the router to do many advaned functions/operate in many ways that enhance the users experience with one of the most notable being that ability to boost the WiFi range by delivering more power to the antennaes than is done regularly.

This router retails for $59.99 online, and for similar prices in stores. I am asking for $30 which includes shipping. The item is opened but new and still resides in the retail packaging. If pics are wanted let me know, I can provide them. Any questions feel free to post them here or PM me.

Sorry, I don't sold it a week ago and totally forgot about closing the thread. I believe I could probably get another of these but it wouldn't have the power adapter or anything.

I should have something that would work for you let me call some of my family members and see if they still have the old hardware I hooked them up with.

My Aunt has a Linksys WRT54GS, she lost the power adapter though. They just moved so she is going to look through there shipping boxes for it but she should find it. Since it is missing the power adapter I'd cut $5 to cover the cost of the power adapter as that is what teh Linksys tech lady quoted me as the cost of a replacement power adapter. If your interested it would be $25 dollars shipped.
