Code 16 Error! HELP!

    Hey, I was at my friend's house yesterday and I wanted to test his modchip(Xenium Ice Solderless), so I installed it into his xbox (v1.2). It lit up red and did the little flubber animation thing then froze for a little while. After freezing for about 10-20 seconds (wasn't counting), it took me to the "call M$ for support" screen with a code 16 error. Now he accuses ME of doing it and i have to fix it for him. He has:
    -v1.2 MoBo
    -Original HD
    -Xenium Ice Solderless (lit up red when we turned it on)
    -Original DVD-Rom (Samsung)

    oh, btw, it was FRAGing too >.<... would switching the MoBo fix it?

    The Xenium LED light is red and you get FRAG until you get it in the right location then the light will turn BLUE.
