Hi. Sorry if this is posted somewhere else in the forum, but I couldn't find anything. I am wanting to put all my DVDs onto a hard drive for playback on Plasma/projector and I would like the best quality possible and I am not sure what codec or settings to use. I am running Mac OS X 10.4.4 on a G5 and on a PowerBook. I would like to do this so all my movies are in one place and I can browse them easily and just select and play.

Any help would be great. Thanks

    you dont need any codec...

all you need to do is rip them with mac the ripper.. and play off the dvd player with it..

as long as you have the proper physical conections.. it dont matter..
