Do you have to factory reset the box after putting in the codes or can you just rescan the channels?

 

Hi. I've just got a Starview box and most of the channels seem scrambled. However, I can receive Sky Movie Channels. Is it possible that I need to input new codes? Also, can anyone tell me how is access the Secret Menu?

I'm connected to NTL in Dublin

 

I put in the codes and went into the installation section and re-scanned the channels but most of them failed. What am I doing wrong do you think?

 

A mate of mine has a different box. It's called a Digivox or something and he can't get the secret menu. Can anyone help at all??

 

Hi , I've just got a starview box today and am having major problems accessing any hidden menus can't seem to do it, can you help me.
I'm not even getting my usual paid for channels now.

 

Just go to the main menue screen and press 1570. That will bring you to the secret menu screen. The latest codes are a few pages back on this forum. Just enter them in and save each on after you have entered them and exit to the channels. They should be working now.

 

Thanks so much but I've just tried it and it takes me back to the installation screen, Am I so stupid that I am missing something?

go to menu on remote then go into perental control hold info button on remote enter pin 2004

Hi Lee what Firmware version does your box have?? you can find out by going into the menu and looking at system info

 

If you've got a null modem cable I'd flash it again

 

The BOX, needs to be updated to V4 software, thats why you can't access the hidden menu. Make sure you upload "The Box" V4 software and not the normal Starview V4 software. The box comes with 2.56 or 2.58 software, which wont allow you to access the hidden menus.

 

Ive 2.58 on loads of boxes and I can access hidden menu, just V3 and V4 autoupdate

 

hi just got the box, cant seem to find the secret menu to turn emu on, i've tried goin to menu typing 1570 but nothing, really need help before i throw the bloody thing out of window. dublin

 

dont panic when you type 1570 on your remote it, you wont see numbers on screen so make sure you point remote at box before you start.then put in 1570, secret menu nagravision go to emu at bottom of screen ,turn to on, exit everything and screen will start updating,

 

You need to press MENU first then 1570 and the EMU is the last option at the bottom of the list

If you press MENU > System Information > and see whatt he API is

If you have 2.60 on "THE B0X" you will not be able to access it and you will need to update the firmware
