How do I keep folders collapsed in Windows 10 Explorer?

What I see is this every time I open it... collapse 1

What I would like it to open up with is this... collapse 2

Is there a way to do this?

    Thank You,

    Gary

If you can collapse the expanded view from the burn program does it give you the view tab in explorer.
If so select options then change then view tab then hit the apply to folder button.then close windows if apply is greyed out then close everything else & try again. If that don't work i have nothing else

    a better explanation:
select options from view tab on far right
    select view
    change folder & search options
    hit apply button after collapsing
