Hi, I have a dvd drive and a burner in my computer. I am trying to back up disks of concert DVDs. As far as I know they should not have copyright protection as they are copies themselves. What is the best program to copy DVD direct to DVD-R? The software that came with my Dell (Sonic) only makes copies that work on the pc. Thanks so much for your help.

Does Sonic have a straight DISC COPY feature. That should be all you need if doing a copy of a copy. Also don't try to do a direct copy from one drive to the other. Copy to the HD first then burn back.

Try DVD Decrypter, downloadable from this site. It's free, and handles copyrighted or non- all the same.
