codec is a compression decompression protocol...it can be used to compress video or to play it (decompress).

 

real simple i do this all the time use your current burner to burn as a data cd. whalla. that's it that's all you have to do and usually depending on size i can get 2 movies on one 700mb cd. it is that simple really i'm dumb and i do it all the time. it will only play in you pc though. good luck

what it ia i am useing TMPGEnc Plus 2 convert a divx film 2 mpeg2 so i can play it on my dvd ,
but it seems 2 be taking along time 2 convert it and its only half the film as i have split it , here is the spec in witch i am working with its a divx film size is 480 x 576
aspect ratio is4:3
frame rate 25fps
and for half the film its takining 15 hours 2 convert is this right
and no i dont have a poor computer
