    Hi
As title suggests i am a complete beginner when it comes to computers and technical stuff.
I am trying to convert movies that are on my comp in AVI and put them on DVD disk to play on my tv. What is the best way to do this and what softwear should i use. Could anyone kind enough to answer this please keep it really really simple (lol)

Right. Nero Vision 4 in the Nero 7 suite will convert from AVI to DVD format and Nero will even burn the DVD. DivXtoDVD has been upgraded to ConvertXtoDVD, available from VSO. Both do a good job and are fairly easy to use. The VSO trial marks the video output, but will at least let you know if it works for you or not.
