compressing mp3

    thus compressing mp3s to a smaller bitrate affects record or the song?.. how severe?..

    Each time you compress an Mp3, yes you lose part of the data and thus the recording is not as good as the previous mp3. The lower the bit rate in kbps the worse the sound. An Mp3 with a 90 kbps would not sound as good as a 320 kbps one.
