   From what I understand, the ENCODING option in decrytor compresses the movie to make it fit, is that correct? which program produces better quality?

   Dvd decrypter will remove macrovision(copyright code) from the dvd. Then use either dvd shrink (free) or dvd2one(£££) to compress the movie.
