When i turn my dell pc on the fan starts going faster and faster, the power light turns turns orange instead of green and the screen says that there is no cable signal. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.

Sounds like the cooler on something is knackered. Which fan is it that speeds up?

It sounds like the motherboard (or something in it) has developed a fault. You could try using a spare power supply just in case that's the problem, but it sounds like some repairs need to be carried out.
