Computer freezing every 30 seconds, whats is the deal?

    Yes, my computer decides to freeze every 30 seconds for about 3 seconds at a time then goes back to normal, then does it again....what could be causing this? its annoying trying to watch a movie and and look up stuff, i need it fixed!!!

    try another video card, got to eliminate possiblities, doesn't have to be new, reseat all cards, memory & cables to motherboard. check all fans to see if spinning properly

    Please give more info.........board,cpu,memory,are you overclocked? When did freezing start?

    If it didn't always do this, you probably have unwanted stuff running in the background. Run msconfig and shut off the unnecessary crap. Aslo check for spyware/adware. I like to use Ad-Aware and Spybot. After you download the updates for Spybot, make sure you imunize (it helps prevent future infections).
