    if cpu comes with heatsink as it is boxed than heatsink will have either a thermal pad on it or paste.

    @evilh0ly

    IMHO and contrary to popular belief, I actually get better CPU temps with the pad that came with them, (Intel CPU's,) then I have by removing the pad and using Artic Silver 5 per their directions. Actually by 4-5 degrees. But if you have to remove the heatsink and lose the pad, then ArticSilver5 is the way to go.

    It's because they switched from FedEx to UPS. It has been a big difference since that change, for the worse.

    Go to device manger by right clicking my computer and left clik properties. Open up device manager and go to your cpu. Make sure its listed as a dual cpu cause you might have gotten boned and its not a true dual core.

    Also if you added the dual core cpu as a upgrade then you need to reinstall windows for the dual core to be recognized. You can just pull out ya single core and slap in a dual core. It dont work that way. You need to reinstall windows. If this is what ya did.

    Two the bus speed is a combination of multiplier, clock speed, and memory bandwidth. If ya add all this up then you have your 1000 unless ya running dual channel ram then ya have 2000.:>
