I need help .... My computer all of a sudden shuts down but the tower stays on and my screen goes black but nothing seems to work. I have to reboot to get it started again. Im not sure what caused this. I do a system restore but that does not work. I checked my temp and it reads fine also. I have all of my drivers for my video card updated and it says they are working properly also. Any Ideas on what this could be? Thank you in advance for your help.
the only thing I can think of is either its your PSU or it is overheating... what is the rating on your PSU? Can you post your specs too?
It's either going to be a heat problem, or a faulty bit of hardware. I'm looking at the PSU or the Graphics card.
