first attempt at copying only 1 coaster so far.
made successful copy of movie.with 1 problem
i can play movie on my computer, no problems.
try and play movie on my dvd player,
i get the whole movie but with directors,
spoken interpretation, with movie sub titles.
    cant seem to stop this.
one more question, is there much difference,
between + or - dvd,s what would be advisable
for movie copies. would appreciate some guidance
    from anyone

No major difference between + or - R discs. It's just a different format. You want to make sure your media and your player's formats match, altho most of the newer players play ALL formats.

What media are you using? This is a major factor in bad burns, if it plays on your PC correctly, but not your player, it suggests to me it's either a compatibility problem or a bad media problem.

I recommend Ritek G04 4x-R or Ridata 4x +R, make sure they are BRANDED. You can get them at meritline for under .50 each w/free shipping. They are a very reputable supplier along with newegg, and have a great return policy.

here is a GREAT site for checking your player's compatibility:
