Im new to burning DVDs. I have only just installed a DVD rewriter and thought everything was fine. However when trying to make a DVD from files that were stored on my computer (using Nero) I encounted a problem. The DVD would play on my DVD player however there was no sound. I thought maybe it was the files so I tried a different file although the same thing happened again. I fitted an audio cable but this didnt help either. I then discovered that I had been using the data DVD option that you normally use for files etc not videos. So then i tried to use the Burn DVD-Video files option. This would not let me select any of the files, as the files I wanted to burn are all played using windows media player. Some one told me that I needed to convert the files from WMA to Mpeg. I do not know how to do this, Please could any one help?????????? Thanks
I suppose you are trying to burn a Video DVD--you might try NeroVision. It is a utility for editing video and adding menus for a DVD. Help files are available online. http://www.nero.com/nero7/enu/User_Guides.html
