i have a HP Compaq d220 mt i am attempting to connect it to an ILO DTV2784, i am using a HD15 splitter and an adapter, HD15 to 3 prong RCA (y,Pb,Pr) the tv says it will support 480i. how can i make my comp putout a signal that can be processed by the TV, do i need a converter or sumthing?

I scoured for a few more days and found the answer myself.... if your TV does not support a progressive scan signal (480P etc..) you can buy a converter to switch the signal to an interlaced signal... or use an analog only cable (yellow RCA Cable, S-video...etc.) i bought my cable (hd-15 to S-video) from [bold]www.computercablestore.com[/bold] ultimately they ahd the best bang for the buck and quite a selection.
