Hi guys, I recently bought a dbox2 and have been trying very unsuccessfuly to connect it to the Homechoice cable network (http://www.homechoice.co.uk).

The problem is that it can't locate a transponder using both cable UK sym6952 and 6887 (with "fast scan" set to either off and on).

Has any else experienced this problem or know of a solution?

    kind regards

does homechoice provide a DVB tv service as I suspect you are confused and trying to pick up a cable tv signal from your broadband connection.

Are you connecting your cable tv feed to the dBox ?

Hi, most likely I am confused - it wouldn't be the first time!
I am not sure what DVB tv service means, homechoice provide a service were you cable tv and broadband through the telephone line.

I thought I could basically unplug the three cables that were going into my cable digibox (scart socket for the TV, ethernet cable and a third cable which brings the cable tv to signal digibox) and plug them into the dbox.

I may need a laymans explanation of where I am going wrong.
