I have been reading much of this forum but still cannot find a solution to my problem.

I am trying to connect my laptop to my tv. I have successfully done so, but the picture comes out [bold]black and white[/bold]. I have tried changing the TV system on the laptop but to no avail. My laptop is an IBM R32 with an ATI video card. My TV is a Sony Vega.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

If the Image comes out Black and White then it could be that the Video Card is a Pal Video Card and the TV is NTSC or the Other way arround as that is what happens when you Play Pal on a NTSC system or Play NTSC on a Pal System....

Are you useing any sort of S-Video to Composite Converter??? because a Bad S-Video to Composite Converter will make you Loose the Chroma signal which is the Color.....
