Hi there. I would like to connect my sony vaio VGN-FE31Z to my tv using s video to scart for cinema/soccer etc. Can anyone recommend a suitable lead????
When i enquired at my local electronic hardware store the salesman said that i may only be able to get black and white visual. Is he correct??
    Thanks

I've never used a scart connection I usually just have a cable that converts the signal from s-video to A/V (the yellow cord that comes with more dvd players).

Usually the black and white thing is because the person doesn't have the right tv signal output. If you live in America you need to use NTSC or it will be black and white.

    I think he is right.
I have had my VAIO VGN-C2S connected to my TV with S-Video to scart cable. Now I only see black and white screen...
