craxtion is easy to use if you install it properly lots of peeps can't however there is a file in the download that says to copy files to the window/system. 32 and alot dont i think you only get that problem under xp as it doesnt have the aspi drivers either anyway thats a different story lol
anyway you should be ok burning as an image as long as you do a full erase good luck let me know how you get on :0)

somewhere amonst the settings you need to choose passive mode try that
also is it a static ip address your using?
cuz i can't understand how your connected and see your own pc twice! anyway try that first
    hopefully it will work

Rubba is it a crossover cable? that very important and Evox is easy to do all you do is un zip/rar then make an iso with craxtion and burn it to disc (i think it has 2 be on CDRW or DVD-/+R and burnt in raw mode or something there is a whole tut on it at www.xbox-scene.com check it out for details
make sure u have the correct IP address of your xbox asswell b4 connecting or else it will not work.

    yeah maybe
i've heard memorex ones work but i can't be sure i have two xbox ones the kids and they have samsung and philips
    aslong as you did this
    1) make sure your cdrw was erased FULL ERASE
    2) that is was an iso you burned iso is only one file
    3) chose burn as image from the recorder menu in nero
    4) burned it very slowly and remembered to CLOSE the disk
if you did all that then yeah its the media

I burned the iso and also put another folder onto the disk cause someone recommended to 'pad' the disk ( to about 100mb) so the xbox could read it.
I didn't close the disk when I burned it so i will try that first.
Doesn't the xbox need the .ini file for skins etc?
the .iso file i downloaded couldn't be opened by my pc so how could i change the IP address etc?
do i get the opportunity to do all that later through the flashfxp program?
Just tell me exactly what to burn and i will do that cause i don't know....:)

Remember it HAS to be a XISO not just a PC .iso cos that don't work the xbox cant read that...
Xiso's can be made with craxtion
It should then be burnt 1x. IF u have a thompson drive aparently u might have problems when it comes 2 the media beause its VERY picky so try around i think packard bell cd/rw work aswell
