Connection in black and white

    I have a Acer 1691 WLMI and i am trying to connect it to my tv, the tv is an old LG, with only a scart socket in the back, so i bought an s-video to scart lead, but the picture is now displayed on the tv in black and white, how can i get this in color? also is it possible to get sound through this cable?? Cheers for your help

    if your picture is in blacl and white it may be a pal ntsc problem check your settings unless you have an audio in conector on the TV sound is not possible svideo only carries graphics
