Convert a color video to B/W

    Hello,

    Does anyone know the [bold]easiest[/bold] way to convert a color video into a black and white? What program, effects, plugins, etc... The clip is an .avi only about 30 sec. long (if this matters).

    avisource("whatever.avi")
    Greyscale()

    What is your desired output though? Because for instance XviD has a greyscale option built in.

    Virtualdub, with the greyscale filter.

    AVISynth converts without changing the colourspace. VDub converts to RGB24.
