Convert Audio Track in Xvid Files

    I have a bunch of Xvids that have a variable bitrate mp3 audio track. To play properly in my Archos AV500 they need to be constant bitrate. What is the best/quickest way to convert these audio tracks to CBR without affecting video quality?

    Fastest would be using mp3packer to pad to CBR. Could mean 320k though, plus you have to demux, then remux.

    Otherwise use mencoder, avidemux, Vdub or whatever and re-encode the audio only.

    I feared there would not be a one click process. Is there a program that I can batch demux and batch mux with, without affecting video quality?
