Convert both avi and mpeg files to one region 4 DVD

    I am a noob so please be gentle;-)

    I have a mix of .avi and .mpeg files that I want to burn to one DVD so that they can be played on my Region 4 DVD player. Can anyone recommend one program to do this?

    I have tried VSO DivXtoDVD which looks like it will do the .avi files fine, but it wasn't keen when i tried to add .mpeg files to the mix.

    I would like to add a menu if possible as well, so a program that can do this also would be a plus.

    Anyone?

    Doesn't need to be region 4 cause I am using DVD shrink
