Convert from fat32 to ntfs

    I have an old ipod that is just gathering dust. Is there anyway i can convert it from fat32 to ntfs , i am using a pc.

    I don't think you can, and still use it as an iPod. However, if you just want to use it as a portable hard drive, you can probably just reformat it to NTFS using My Computer.

    I've been wishing Apple would include the option to have a PC-formatted iPod as NTFS, though it certainly doesn't look like its in the works. For the odd time I use my iPod to carry around files, I've often had to split files to accommodate the maximum individual file size of FAT32.
