I have the movie Pan's Labyrinth as an AVI with a seperate SRT file for English Subtitles. It plays fine as a AVI (must stay in the same folder), the subtitles show, but when I convert the AVI to DVD, no subs. How do I go about adding the SRT to the AVI for conversion or is there a way of converting the SRT to a DVD file before burning?
Hello, What software are you using to convert? Does the software support subtitles? ConvertXtoDVD adds srt subtitles, but sometimes you have to use the remote control to activate them, maybe that is what happened for you? Thanks mate. Last night I used the forums search engine and found some very helpful stuff about SRT files. I ended up obtaining DVDSanta 4 and it worked perfectly. When I opened the AVI file to convert, it even told me there was a SRT in there and asked if I wanted it included. It's inbuilt burn program worked perfectly.
