converting avi to vcd using Nero ahead ver 5

    can anybody please email me the complete steps and other tips in converting avi to vcd format using nero... please email me at ewolram007@hotmail.com...

    Firstly, dont post your email address or you will find yourself with a lot of spam mail.
    Secondly, steps to produce a vcd in Nero?
    There are no steps.
    Insert your disk, select VCD or SVCD in the nero menu at left where you would normally choose audio or data. Choose the source file. Press record.

    Its as easy as that....

    i agree i wouldnt use nero

    but if u wanna know jus pop in a blank CD start up nero and use the wizard to selct VideoCD and it will encode it to a VCD format for you

    but i still say dont use nero check out the link posted above give u a better solution

    lol double posting like myself, damn server!! lol

    I still would never ever encode with nero or recomend anyone does it, i tried it once and got the worst results imaginable!

    yeh i agree totally better to use other programs
    hate wasting time n CD's on things i can avoid
    im mainly a DVD guy now
    u seem to be quite a VCD wiz
    its all good tho

    I'm both dvd and svcd/vcd now i'll start participating more in the dvd-r forums when i have more time!

    oh im jus starting with the DVD'z
    still undecided on which DVD writer to purchase
    thinking of getting the
    pioneer 105 x4
    its bout 140.00 on the net
    its got the CBR (constant bit rate) -R
    which im supposed to be looking for
    been getting h3rbsman view on things too
    wat do u think?
    any recomendations ??
