ok so I have a blu ray movie, that i would like to watch on my ps3 it is a mkv format, I already extracted it to the proper avi extension, problem now is no sound. I need to convert dts into ac3. I followed this tutorial http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_dts_to_ac3.cfm but it didnt show up (3 pic from bottom). Im guess because it is still in mkv format. Does anyone know how i can extract only the dts file from that mkv? so I can convert it to ac3. If thats right?
If you want a quality single-click program use 'GotSent' it works fine for ps3 and 360, converts the audio to 2ch aac tho b/c the 360 can't playback 5.1 aac. But if you don't want the single-click process use 'foobar2000' to convert that .dts file.
