Is there a program that I can use to convert a dvd to mpeg or AVI? I have a full dvd with all the special features and subtitles etc etc etc and what I would like to do is to be able to convert these files to a more standard format along with getting maximum compression for the movies. I have looked at DVD Shrink for these purposes and although it has the compression and reauthoring functionality that I'd like it doesn't compress the file as much as I'd like. What programs could I look at to get my expected results? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
I use a program called DVDx it works pretty good and is easy to use. Also the price is right for me "Free" ;-) You can download it here on AD. I usually make my movies DivX when I do this. I use a programs called DVD2SVCD v1.2.2 build 3 and SimpleDivX. They works pretty good and are easy to use.
