Hi djethan i'm interested in the same shows from 'This American Life' before paying for Mini-stream ripper i want to check with you: is this really working ? how do you proceed?Do you you streamBox VCR to to download from the website?
Hey Levizz, Yeah, it's working great... the only problem being that I 'm working through their show archive too quickly I use Streambox VCR to get them (copy the url of the RealAudio link from the website, and sic Streambox on it). I find I can get five or six shows at a time on my DSL. Then I let Mini-Stream ripper batch process the streams. The only problem is that Mini-Stream ripper doesn't have great MP3 compression options (viz. you can't choose mono) so the files end up being larger than they need to be.
