I've got some DivX files that I burned onto a DVD, but the dimensions are too large for my TV. The subtitles end up hanging halfway off the screen, which poses problems for me since I don't speak Japanese.

I figured that converting the files to a widescreen format would probably help me out. I'm trying to use Vegas Video to convert these files, but it's estimated to take about 3 hours to convert one 30 minute file, and I have 27 of them. Is there a faster way to convert these to widescreen? Or perhaps a more effective way to make the files fit my TV when I burn them. Any help is appreciated.
