I don't know if it is possible, but if it is, can someone tell me how I can convert a ripped VIDEO TS file to an MPEG 4 format?

I tried that but I didn't get any sound after doing so. Is there any other way to convert or any other method of ripping to a MPEG 4 format?

after clicking on a few links last night that thelox had in the post "Available Mac rippers?"
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/323209

i found some neat freeware that converts dvd's to mp4. i tried out handbrake, that did work for me... and i also tried out something that seemed a bit too simple, but it seemed to work.... it was called DVD2Pod. either do an internet search for it or try this link:

the only drawback is it makes it a pretty small file that is made to look good on an ipod. but really, the file wasn't all that bad looking on my computer screen.

Thanks man for the tip, I'll download it and check it out. Handbrake usually always works for me but in this particular case, I got a good rip but it didn't have any sound. Thanks again.
