I was wondering if there was a way to connect to at CS5000 using a computer that doesn't have a serial port. Thanks for the help.

 

they sell an adapter that converts to usb.

Did 201 work for anybody ? doesnt seem to work for me.

 

not working for me either for 5k. any tips or tricks? how long have these bins been lasting? not complaining but seems they go down before i can get them loaded. guess we'll wait for 202.

 

bim 201 is working fine always do a factory set 1st then the neweast bin make sure ar is on took about 8 minutes for 201 to kick in

 

Hi guys i have a star vw clone and every channel works eccept sly sports 1 i done full rescan and manual scan but it does not even find it now can someone help thanks.

 

can you plz explain how to do a factory reset for cs5k. i have 201 loaded and ready but just can't remember how to do it. thx.

 

Here is link on AD that billo posted. Just scroll down halfway or so and it gives complete setup. Some of the steps you have already done, so just pickup where "reset" starts. Good luck!
