    Serious business:

As you all know B3v is doing a card change. The also have a new encryption in the stream, called nagra 3. As of right now it has not been turned on, but as soon as the card swap is done and the cards has been activated, they will start turning it on channel by channel.

This is a C/P of a answer that was asked when they thought it would come and if nagra was hacked.

Just like with DTV in its days before the new improved Videogard encyption, they ran 2 encryptions during their card swaps...once they were fully card swapped out, they shut down the old and fully activated the new (2 week process)...

So, Bev annd DN will do the exact same thing...Bev is in process now of card swapping and DN , later this year...and both using nagra 2 and 3 ...to be Nagra 3 once fully swapped out..

timeline..I dunno..with DTV it was about 3-6 months after the first new card was swapped, and until the last subscriber was given his final opportunity to activate the new card...but once the final swap and nagra 3 is activated, its a 2 week process to eliminate the old nagra 2 and implement the new nagra 3 to all channels..its done by channel type...locals, regular, premiums, PPV's, etc,

We have no idea if Nagra 3 has been hacked or not...its been in Europe for awhile, and theres conflicting reports of its status..we in NA haven't really seen it yet, so haven't disected it....but who knows, maybe we can bust it within 2-4 weeks once its fully implemented, like we did when we went from Nagra 1 to Nagra 2..only time will tell..

One of the suggestions in the manual, was that once your wife/girlfriend uses it to try to buy aaa batteries by the case.

I'll gladly wait and hold onto my cs5k as I did with my Pansat 2500A. At the moment, it is up with DN & B3V

Well the demand for FTA is greatly alive, and any change that is made, will be eventually figured out in time.

I think DTV and Star Choice could be also figured out if they wanted to, but the market for those providers is too small for any manufacturer to make it worth their while.

If BEV and DN go to the same technology, you might eventually see access to more providers.

It's because in the rules, we aren't supposed to advertise and probably because of some other rules.
It's written that way, but you still understand it.

    Not me LOL

I tried looking at a bin with an editor, and I closed it 10 seconds later.
    I was totally baffled.
