ask blank about the nfu.. He's had it for a while and he's still here to help us out. So I don't think they got he's ip address yet. My brother has a vs pro and its pretty good and the support seams pretty good. I dont know exactly how the picture quality is on the sv, nfu or any other vs model. Im currently looking at an upgrade too and I'm asking about the vs and sv models and seeing which one has a better support and picture quality

Hey it's simple. When you get your file instead of loading it to the box just open it on it's own. No offense to anyone but I did that, it all look's like chinese to me!!! Bunch of letter's and numbers and squiggly sign's, very weird looking.

Hey gang, as long as you have a good set-up outside, the picture quality on the inside are pretty much the same. Aside from the hi-def boxes.

You can run it using either Netgear adaptors or wireless bridge to get internet to your receiver.

Not hard at all. Just plug your receiver with a ethernet cable directly into the router and it's good to go.

If you use Netgear adaptors, same thing. Plug it all in and it's good to go.

If you use wireless bridge, it's requires setting up the bridge to communicate with your network. I finally figured mine out. I did something wrong, but not real hard.

you dont need keys, you need a bin file. bin is not ready yet. stop asking and read first. or better yet, get the toolbar and look for yourself.

    whatup people...

    fyi:

CS4k-6k been down for a week now, so I have mine awaiting in the room for the fix. I have my SV4K up and running in the living room which was only down for about 2hrs. since the last ecm. SV has nice features which include epg for 7 days (without having to tune into any spec. ch), opt to listing in spanish when avail and filters for dn or bev when only one available. I still like the simplicity of my cs but had to have a backup.

Absolutely. I think you will see almost everyone buying a new brand receiver. Coolsat owners have put up with the NORW-Group crap for a year now and are tired of it. It would be acceptable if other brands were having trouble with updates too, but for everyone else to have updates in 48 hours or less and Coolsat taking weeks, not acceptable.

This isn't the first time it has happened. People will flock to where the better support is.

Don't blame anyone for making the move. Personally, I won't be keeping my 6000. It's already going out on trash day. Apparently 6100 and above will still see faster support, but I don't think that will save them. Burnt once, don't get burnt twice.

CS receivers have become obsolete, because of no timely support from Norwegian. I would get a VS, or SV. I am not too keen for nFu***.

If its your home WiFi then yes, but if you are stealing your neighbors signal i wouldn't bother, its not fast enough to communicate.
