Coolsat 5000 Questions PART 2

hi i see there will be no more files for 4,5,6 to bad good thing i bought a cw 600p a couple of monthsd ago works good files usually there within 24 hrs dont mind that also just ordered another cw 700 keeping my coolsat to put in my garage for sirius radio hook up to my stereo,might balso see if they cant be converted to another model that works,anyway bill,breck,jerry and everyone else thanks for all the help so far

 

this morning i was looking around into this post on dsscentraltv about how to convert cs 4,5,6 into skyview..it did mention you need to know how to jtag to perform this operation...and the true is i dont have a clue what jtag is ,other wise id try it,what is there to lose.

Also depends on what you want and what you want to spend for example, HD for BEV is free, for DN you ust add a scondary module for 200.00, PVR is more expensive, reg bin running or IKS, alot of choices and if you want Globecast a 3rd provider only 1 stb can get it right now..... So your choice is based on your preferences and your pocketbook.

NO ONE ever said there were bins on this site, you can read back 80 pages in this thread alone and find at least 7 places to get software and at least 20 places to get help and guides but i think it just doesnt sink in for you.

What would you suggest if I have to upgrade from my CS5K ?
UltraSat or Viewsat or Captive works or Sonic view or Nfusion ? Please provide the model name and the reason for your choice also. I know that lot of CS5K users have the same question in their mind. We need experienced users like you to suggest us an upgrade. Please provide your opinion with the model you have. I am sure many people will benefit from your suggestions.
