Sorry, it doesnt shut off the internet. It just closes the internet page and goes back to my screeen saver. I am using internet Explorer, I have also tried using MSN.

 

Blnkstare, Where are you living, I mean in which area?

 

I'm happy the cs4/5/6k bins are out as my sunsat always gets its bins 1 or 2 days after those.

And my nfu*** has not arrived yet. Mexican efficiency at it's best, coño.

So I still survive with basic mexican cable (YIKEs) and dvd's.

Do a complete AntiVirus/spyware scan on your computer.

 

CJ this happened to me, just trying to go to yahxx. It turned out it was just my security settings. Try going to control panel- internet options-security- and move the settings down to med or med-low.

 

Sounds like something with your computer. Been using these forums for 3 years now and that's the first time I have heard of this problem.

can we get HD channels from coolsat 5000?

 

It is my understanding that the CS8100 can do that. For d*n,
you have to buy a special 'HD converter box' in addition; while
I read that, with B*v, this box is not needed. In either case, your
'low end' cs5k won't do it for you.
Somebody speak up if I'm mistaken....???

 

O.k guy's a new set of problems, I have three standard dual out put lnb's ! dish with a 500 with 110/119. 1 old dick dish with 91. 2 diseq switch,s 1 to each box. 1 vs ultra, 1 cs 5000. Switch settings are 119 #1, 110#2, 91 #3
Vs ultra is perfect, the coolsat locks on to 119 perfect, will only lock to 110,91 once and awhile? Meaning 1 minute it's there and when I change the channel to 119 channel out goes the 110 and 91. The big guy's are aware of my previous testing with the old Dp plus head. t6hing I broke something in the box??

 

Correct

For DN you need a HD receiver with an 8spk adaptor installed.
For BEV, the HD receiver is used as is.

Blankstare I think mentioned that a Coolsat 8100HD can't be used for DN because you can't install the adaptor.

 

Hey guys & gals. I gave one of my cs receivers to my bro and now that there is a new bin, i went over to try & set it up for him. he has basic BEV and wants me to hook up the cs receiver to his existing dish. I loaded the new bin and hooked up the receiver but it only says scrambled channel. Now i made sure that the settings were the same as mine, but i noticed that his dish has a different switch on it. It says "Videopath Model SW21 Multi-Dish Switch". Will this switch work on my old cs or do i have to put on the old Diseqc Switch?

 

I think you just have to wait forthe autoroll.
I am next sure, but if the switch settings were wrong, wouldn't it give a no siganl message and not scrambled channel?
I would think the scrambled channel message is receiving the signal, but not autorolling or hasn't rolled the keys yet.

Make sure you have the autoroll on. Maybe also manually enter the keys and see if it comes on.

 

Why you looking for a date?

 

I would do a factory rest load bin 100 to get rid of all the saving to the chip, flashi it, redo cs5k you should be ok, or the DiSEqC switch that your hooking up to the cs5k isnt switching or isnt recieving correct tone/voltage.

 

I did the factory reset after I posted. Brought the box over to a friend's house, who is a little smarter than me!!! Turn's out some of the settings in the box itself were not right, switch settings etc. If anything else arise's I will ask for more help!!!

 

Guess my letter worked or they are reading all the forums and big brother CS called and said "WE'LL PAY YOU, MAKE IT, WE ARE LOSING OUT ON BIZ"!!!!

 

I ve attemp to download new software v 1.71 but it seems that my box is being zap even w/o the lnb cable plug in. every time I attempt to turn it On it goes off. Tge Led goes out and displays 0 followed by 8 in the middle, any sugg.
