I live in P.A. Just to clarify 91 is Bev (canadian) and 100 and 119 are DN (american dish). What kind and size of dish are you using? Thanks.

You could just load the new bin and watch your cs5000 today.

Once you have everything connected and unit "on", press open files, then click on newest bin, then click "pcb-stb". Once that starts, turn your power off at back of receiver then back on quickly. this should work.

Just read this and remember hearing that the pvr on nF will not work well,, so it may be true??

"A Wireless Bridge Upgrade for $49.99 is recommended in order for the wireless capabilities of this receiver to work seamlessly. It is a 54Mbps wireless bridge that has the correct bandwidth so the PVR and recording options will work. Be aware of some dealers selling the Nfusion with the Netgear XE102 or the Logitech Playlink Wireless Cubes, as they are only 14Mbps and do not have enough speed to allow you to record."

My thoughts on this is that the providers are not going to waste money going after a single fta user, but even though the CLAIM is that your IP is not logged, it has to be somewhere in the system for the internet to work both ways. If the providers want to go after someone, it will be NFUSION directly and all their information. Regardless of where the servers are located, the information can be traced within the USA. I have family that work in government law inforcement and have asked about things like this many times. That is my big concern with this. There is nothing SAFE or PRIVATE in the USA anymore if the government gets involved and wants information. Thats my last statement on this box.

It does PVR, but it records via your network on your computer.

The PVR is in its infancy beta stage, if your looking for a pvr, this is not why you buy an nF*****

On Sunday I upgraded from my CS 5000 to nf****. From what I hear from everyone is that they have mostly uniterrupted service. So far, I have not been very happy with mine. But I'm guessing it is something on my end. It frequently freezes and comes up with a message "service not available." This usually happens when the red light goes off which I think the red light means I have a good internet connection. I have DSL. But it also happens when the light is on. I have to turn the nf**** off to watch regular tv from my antenna. Often the red light will come on as soon as I turn the nf**** off. Then if I turn it on to see if it is working again the light goes right back out. I'm not having any trouble with my internet connection when I am on my computer. Wondering if anyone can offer any help?
    Thanks

The light to confirm the internet is active on your receiver. Mine goes out the odd time, but I have 4 computers running on my network too, so the router works hard. Sounds like you internet cuts out if the light keeps going out.

Did you load the U27 Boot file and the 1.45.2 Main file?
In your internet settings, is yours set to DHCP?
