It was off for 30-40 minutes. Matchsticks guys looked into it and fixed whatever the problem was.

 

They are working on a Quad IKS system and transferring over 4/14/08, dont know if that had anything to do with it, but we were on , had company and still kickin. Read not everyone went down, interesting to find out what area's did.

 

I am wondering if I should hook my nova. I don't know if they are going to do something to it through IKS or what. I have all the latest upgrades in it, Just don't want to go through some hassle if it's not hooked up.

 

Is there a way to hook both boxes up at the same time to one TV? Use a splitter, or can you use the loop connection on the back?

I checked my PM and looked at the info thanks bill, sorry took so long to get back to you but this site was experiencing trouble. I would hook up the nF***** Tonight before you go to bed and when you wake up see whats the best course of action to upgrade, you will only need U27 and 1.45.2 to proceed as reported. Also i wouldn't loop the 2nd stb, just my opinion.

 

I checked back of SS this morning and they were still at it over f2a. Seems they don't want any bad mouthing of coolsplats.

Also seems that one of the pyro's is named in a lawsuit. Guess we will have to see how that play's out.

Won't be doing anymore posting or downloading from there for a while.

 

I have all the latest updates, I will hook it up this evening, before the hockey games start.

I ma not afraid of using it, but the ultra has some features I like better. For me, it makes a good backup, that is why I was wondering about hooking both up at the same time. Kind of a pain of undoing all the cables and then redoing them on a different receiver.

I noticed the site here was messed up for a while.

 

question ?what is the loop out deal used for?can you run another coax from there to another stb or what ,any info would be apreciated thnks...

 

I think that's what it's for, though never have done it. I don't know how well it works, or any problems that it might create.

 

The loop out is to hook another tv to the same box. I think you have to watch same channel.

 

This is what I found out for a viewsat, I would assume all receivers would be the same.

2) LOOP OUT : To enable the connection of an analog receiver, the receiver is provided with this port.
Connect this port to DISH IN(LNB IN) port of the other receiver via RF Cable.

 

Hi guys. trying to set up the nfus*** but no luck so far.

I already have the softwsre in (Boot R3X 1.30 Software Ver: 1.45.2 IPVR 0.77, CRC is Checked).

I have the program guide ok, and all... but no TV. It just says SERVCIE NOT AVAILABLE, i-ON, n-ON, p-OFF, Emul-ON.

Could someone help me?

Turn the emul off.
Do you have the red light on the front of the receiver? That tells you your internet is on.

 

Also - Did you install the U27 Boot file first and then the 1.45.2?

 

In User settings:

Set local area - as close as possible - if canada, choose closest us city
Dolby - OFF
DN Autoroll - ON
BEV Autoroll - ON
Emu - OFF

In Interent:

Network - ON
Auto Update - ON
Network Info - DHCP/Static - DHCP
Proxy - OFF

 

Breck. I have all the settings right at this time.

It's working. I live in Mxico City so I don't think the local area matters, does it? I have Houston, Tx in there, but Laredo is closest.

But I have a problem. I don't have the local channels in the guide. Is there a way to fix that??
