The tuner in that stb is alot weaker than cs5k, get a larger dish 1.2 meters for Mexico and also try an in-line digital amp, GE makes 1 AV22710 for 20 bucks you can get them from home depot, or depot de casa! LOL

Need Help!!!!!We have a coolsat 5000 and just bought a cw700. Just wondering if a zinwell 4x4 multi-switch will work so we can have both receiver hooked up in the house? We have a dishpro lnb for 110 and 119 and a dtv single for 91. Thanks for the help.

My CS has been scramble for a half hour, but my VS is working... strange. BEV is still up but my receiver is not. The newest BIN is loaded, the settings have not changed, and it was working fine even this morning when I went to work. Anyone else having the same problem?

I would replace the DP's lnbs because they have a built in switch and is compatible with nothing, only way for this system to work is a DP34 switch, zinwell is good for DTV lnb but will have conflicts with internal switches in the dishpro.

No, just power off from back and back on should do the trick, bin 172 has alot of software flaws, i really believe its erratic switching bin caused one of my DiSEqC switches to blow, i am glad i just ordered another 12 to keep on hand.

BEV did a key change today and apparently autoroll is still good.
It was reported to take 4-7 minutes for the autoroll to work and picture to come back.

I seems you have the first stages of CRS. You can check with your DR. but I was doing the same thing. Now I am in the advanced stages of CRFT. That is where you are headed.

    Believe me................................I see it coming.

I just found this from another site, take it with a grain of salt, or whatever.

IKS for coo*lsat in the works for all models & homesat, visionsat etc

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    c/p:

new hope for older models fta
I will explain it for you all so there is no mistakes.

IKs type dongle that will work with 6100/7000/7100/8000/8100 to start with and they will get it to work with the 4/5/6 in a month or so afterwards or something else at that time. There was only 4 people in the usa that knew about it so its not hard to figure out who has a big mouth lol.

This dongle will also be made to work with other stbs such as orasat, homesat, visionsat and more to come.

Or cats out of the bag now.

Also I am currently testing on the cs8000 and so far so good. It works very well.

Most are preparing for the end to come or some serious down time with nagra 3. Go with what you know works best is all I can tell you.

BTW....Captain has already released DONGLE IKS fixs for their 7000, 7100, and 8000 receivers..

Also the name Dongle is about as stupid as one can think of...if this really works and goes to other receivers, I foresee IKS getting shut down eventually!...sooner than expected..

Your welcome, and if you ever choose a 4x4 for later projects dont get zinwell, channelmaster is much better.
