    I know that now!! This is a very important lesson for all newbies. When someone tell's you to check around, DO IT!!! Save yourself alot of money.

    any word on the nagra 3 thing thats supposed to hurt everyone?

    PLZ. HELP!! I want to buy another box that its not gonna take one day to get a new bin, but I'm not sure what brand and model I'm going to get any suggestion will be helpful.

    Just replaced my cs5k with a sv4k and having issues on sat 110.Missing some channels,sometimes quality is erratic(comes and go),work fine for maybe 1 hr and the problem comes back.
    Never have this with my cs5k.I programed a viewsat 2000 platinun for a friend and I used for 1 day before he pick it up and worked excellent.I have read everything I could fine in other forums,but no solutions.
    Wonder if I replace my switch with a low lost one maight improve the quality.....any input about this will be appreciated.!!!
    It is frustating..thanks

    Thanks, I scanned each separately and am getting all my channels now. The nf**** is getting better. I still lose my internet connection sometimes, but not nearly as much as I was. It mostly happens in the evening and when I'm watching local channels.

    That happens to a lot of people. The pyro's know about it and are supposed to be working on it. That is what they have said now for a couple of months. This has been a on going problem.

    i replaced my cs5000 with a sv4000 and its working perfectly. i am able to get all the channels. i'm enjoying my sv4000.

    Good, maybe I got a bad box or software.but my problem is with 110 only. I live in the carribean and maybe the signal is weaker than your area.This box the signal and quality is lower than tha cs5k.I was getting 95% must of the time on my cs. That why I asked if maybe replacing swithes with a lower lost could make some improvment.I'm just guessing.
    I'm going to wait,many persons with same problems and Billo said that SV knows about it and hopefully there is a solution.

    No C5K bin yet?? Man, I hope it comes in time for me to watch GSP dance on Serra's face..I am also missing the IPL cricket debut :(
