I got one posted, but breck has a lot faster access to the site than I do. I can't keep up with him.

Yes you did and I think I answered but it got lost somewhere.

The box would'nt accept the cs bins. The error message is WRONG VERION or something like that. I tried with all cs 4/5/6 k bins, so...

    Thanks for asking, breck.

I wanted to see if there were any other 6000 clones that had updates we could try. Haven't found any others.

Hi gang!! Need more help from anyone please. This has me puzzled. Some of you will know I am having the same problem. For anyone else here we go. I have 3 dual feed lnb's. 2 legacy, 1 old dir. tv lnb. Not sure if it is a legacy. 2 dishes, 1 is a 500 with the legacy lnb's. 1 is an old dir tv dish with the single lnb, at 91 nimiq 1,3. The 500 is at 110,119. That is the dishes. The switches, 2 chieta heavy duty from maxx electronics. From there 2 cables into the house, 1 from each switch. Cables go to 1 v/s ultra 1 to the c/s 5000. Now the settings.
    The c/s 5000.
    sat 91 nimiq 1,3
    Lnb power on
    Lnb type single
    freq 11250
    22 off
    diseq 1.0
    comm 3
    leg off
The 110 and the 119 are the same except, the comitted are 110 2 and 119 1. This post is getting long, sorry. Now the problem, The v/s ultra is set the same way, When the ultra is on a 119 sat chanel the c/s 5 will only get the 119 channels. 91 and 110 come out as unknown network or in the upper right hand corner it will say 119!! If the ultra is on one of the 110 sat channels the c/s will be fine for the 91 and 110 channels BUT for the 119 channels I have to use the power button on the remote, and the 119 channels come in fine. When the ultra is on the 91 sat channels, everything on the c/s 5 works great. I know this was a long post, but bear with me!! When the responses come I will tell you what happened when I got my hands on a v/s extreme!!!!

Everything looks good but why is comitted 1 and uncommitted 6? Are you using a 8x1 DiSEqC switch? And if not DiSEqC should be 1.0

Let me know i will help

That sounds like 1 of 2 problems, when a sat locks on a diff number other than your pointed to there is either a power conflict within the lnb or the lnb setting is incorrect causing 1 to dominte the DiSEqC's power. Or your system is not grounded properly and when the stb calls for power the DiSEqC switch has voltage still on the previos lnb causing erratic switching. Either way check your lnb settings and make sure they are correct. If your system is not grounded then ground the system at one simutaneous point in the set-up, such as the switches or grounding blocks. Keep us posted
