Coolsat 5000 Questions PART 2

The loop out connection is for hooking up another receiver from the main receiver. Run a coax cable from the "loop Out" of your first receiver to the sat in of your second receiver, BUT you can NOT have the power ON for both receivers at the same time(it one or the other)

Hey gang. I guess all is well, no one is talking!!! One question to all of you do the legacy lnb's need to be set as legacy in the set-up menu or can they be standard lnb's. I think I have finally got the setting's right. the v/s ultra is

I'm still getting some interference from each unit. When I switch the c/h on the c/s the v/s will freeze-up??

 

Its to update the tp's (transponders) on each sat, sometimes interferes while updating

 

Hey Blank. Hows it goin? I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. My brother has Bev subscription and he just got a new HD receiver from them. It is in his livingroom, but it comes with a second remote that works from his bedroom. This receiver will operate on 2 different tv's. Is there a fta receiver like that? Just wondering

 

I think it is a receiver with 2 tuners and it uses UHF remotes.
The receiver will have a small antenna on the back of it.

Haven't heard of any FTA unit with UHF remotes.
The Sonicview 360 Elite says 2 tuners in it's specs, but not sure exactly how it works. It's not HD though.

 

I havent seen or heard of that feature in FTA, although SV Elite has 2 tuners, dont have one not sure of capabilities. They are also releasing a new combo dual tuner,PVR, HD stb sometime in a few months all 360 series
