I over complicated things. Checked all the key sites to confirm I had the latest. Not all sites have same keys!!!
Any way, since your's is working, I cycled power to the box. Guess what??? The lab is back up!!!
Thanks for the confirmation and I hope you have a great week.

I did note the background images were absent from the setup screen and was replaced with 'black'. Just had the menu buttons. All back now.

    Goto Menu>Installation>Manual Scan>
    Do a manual scan for:

    119.0W Echostar 7
    Frequency 12.399 GHz
    Symbol rate 20.000 MS/s
    Polarization V
    Hit "OK" for scan

Check your Dish or lnb they might have moved in the wind or rain. Or can be loose, sounds like your signal quality is lower than 65

Which box would you recommend: CW600, SV 4000 or VS ultra, would you buy a PVR now or wait a few months. I am leaning for CW for the price, dont know if Nagra 3 will make us buy new receivers, how is CW support, where can we get bins for this box?
    Thanks for the opinion.

if 119/110 are fine you wouldnt be getting pixelation. What sat is not good? Is it the combo 119/118.8? or a B3V sat?

    b4 i had 110, 119 and 121. then 121 stopped working, and i put 118.8. I dont think its a combo,because my committed is different for 119 and 118.8. Its not a bev.

da dn company set it up at 118.8 for the guys living downstairs to get international channels. so i figure ours must be 118 as well, same dish.

Thanks Breck & Blank. Do you know approx. what the $ amount for that new SV would be? And how does the SV compare to the CS? I mean picture quality & set up. Thanks for any input:)
