Anytime CJ, i am interested myself in what nFu HD has to offer then compare it to sv 360HD/PVR stb and Nagra3/ B3V/DN card swap.....

Right now, i am just waiting for the next move, my ultimate plan is to get a real good HD stb dont know which one and connect to either 1.2 or 1.8 meter dish on a sg2100 motor with an invacom QPH-031 quad linear/circular lnb but all together is around 1k with an 8PSK module add-on for DN HD, just waiting for the you know what to hit the fan and see who's still standing and who is BS'ing...LOL

finally have enough $ to upgrade, but waiting for nagra 3 to see if coders can handle it. i would love to buy an NF***** and a SV4K (or is it VS4K), but i want to make sure its worth it. and with cs5k and cs7k working well rite now. no real exengency to upgrade.

Swap the cs5k see if you get same error message, if not its a software error and i would factory reset the sv, clear all nvram, and eeprom load factory bin then factory reset, then latest software and re-scan, re-set. I have never hard of that issue nor has anyone else, unless its updating when rolling keys? Happens 3 times a day or all day? Either way i would clear all memory and start from scratch.

hey blnkstare...some of my 118.8 channels work. But the southasian ones do not. I changed the settings, to single, but it didnt change anything. The quality for the 110 and 119 are great, in the 90's.

How do you clear NVRAM & EEPROM?? Will a factory reset do that?? I have tried factory reset about 2 times.
The wait for update message somtimes takes more than 15 minutes and maybe sometimes every hr.(not all the time)My CS5K was disconected for about 4 days and when I installed again it was working almost instantaneus.
    Thanks

The bin software is not yet updated to get all tp's but they are there, just manually scan for them, here is a list you can try with tp numbers and sr numbers, the 21500 might not come in cause they are a weak signal and require a larger dish but you can try them, first these will give you more channels and missing channels:

goto Menu> Installation> 0000> Manual Scan> Choose 118.8 DISH Anik F3 then green button allows you to edit "add TP":

    freq: 12002 sr: 20.000
    freq: 12033 sr: 20.000
    freq: 12050 sr: 20.000
    freq: 12094 sr: 20.000
    freq: 12111 sr: 20.000
    freq: 12124 sr: 20.000
    freq: 12142 sr: 20.000
    freq: 12155 sr: 20.000

lower signal tp's might require larger dish:

    freq: 11758 sr: 21.500
    freq: 11776 sr: 21.500
    freq: 11819 sr: 21.500
    freq: 11837 sr: 21.500
    freq: 11850 sr: 21.500
    freq: 11867 sr: 21.500
    freq: 11880 sr: 21.500
    freq: 11928 sr: 21.500
    freq: 11941 sr: 21.500
    freq: 11972 sr: 21.500

You should get around 140-150 channels total.

    Enjoy,
    Blank

To clear NVRAM you shut off stb with front power button them turn on with front power button and hold in channel up key on front of stb. This will give you the CS5K diagnostics screen, scroll down to NVRAM reset or NVRAM clear and this will clear all memory, just remember to write down all your settings. If you use "furface" instructions on how to flash a CS5K his methods also clear EEPROM. Then you load factory bin 100, latest bin, rescan, adjust settings and enjoy

Anyone that knows, I currently have 119 and 110 on my CS5K. I aquired another dish 500 with a dish pro lnb. I would like to get N****q 91 on this dish. What must I do to the CS5K to keep the channels separated. I'm not sure I can get the skew down to 16.1 though with this dish. Any suggestions?

If its 1 dish and 1 lnb i dont think it requires to be skewed or that much since your only aiming at 1 sat with a circular lnb. CS5K has a feature you can enable called "renumbering BEV" it will put all bev channels 1000 and above while DN will stay 1-999

I am up, make sure you have 173 installed. If its first time turning on in awhile then allow AR to roll
