Coolsat 5000 Questions PART 2

Hey Blnk, is B*v completely down? I finally found the signal for 91 and was watching History International and it went scramble. Also I donwloaded the channels but all the program guide shows "no information"
not sure if I did something wrong or it was because of the ecm that b*v is going thru. What do you think?

I picked up a dongle to test on my 6100, and I can't update the piece of sh!t.

The retards at NORW gave everyone a null UPDATE loader for a straight dongle. Can't update it. They have to be the biggest idiots on this planet.

Just glad I didn't have to pay for it? Guess it will be returned tomorrow. Couldn't be bothered now.

 

On CS5K everything is down, BEV was first

 

I thought that might be the case. When I connected back to D**h, it was down. I'm surprised that no one is in here asking for bins yet. Maybe the all got rid of their CS and went to something else.

 

I think alot of users fell off the wagon. I still love the quality of my cs5k tho

 

I like model "T's" to.............................but they are old, and can't find parts=support.

 

Me too. I think it will take them a little longer this time than last.
I hope CS is working on their files also.

you always say my visual confirmation code is wrong
no matter what I type in just exactly as it shows
is it for real ?

and I typed in exactly as it shows but I always get this msg here
"The entered Visual Confirmation Code was incorrect!"
it must have been more than 20 time I got this msg
anyone else have the same problem or is it just me ?

No problems here logging in. Must be something wrong on his end. Sometimes I do have a problem when I download a file. It brings up the download screen, but won't give me the OK button. I have to close it and click on the download again, but usually get it on the second or third try.

 

I get that using firefox. The Save File button doesn't look active, but if I click on it several times, it starts to save.
I think you have to delete your browser cache. It's probably full and causing things to be slow.

i haven't fallen off the wagon yet....but considering to do so, and SOON....but i do love my CS5K and i am so used to it in terms of loading, etc....as i am still a newbie at all this, what are your suggestions to other receivers out there that are similar to CS5K (loading BINS, channels, menu functions, etc)....cuz i am not techno-savvy and not looking forward to learning how to use another receiver all over again thanks!
