Thanks Jerry....I replaced the old CS5K switch for the same reason.I was considering replacing the switch with a Chieta WSD-2041,that I have read that are very good. Also was considering a 22kz tone switch, but I don't know if it is a good choice. This is where I need someone with expertise, like you guys.
Right at this moment all I get is sat 119,on 110 I get no signal.Any suggetions?
    thanks

It sounds like (and I am no expert) but the settings on the machines are acting against each other.I had the same issue with the v/s ultra and the cs/5. Are they just standard lnb's on each dish??

That's correct....standard lnbs on each dish. It start working ok again about 10 min. ago. How you fix your problem??

I didn't know your old switch was doing the same thing. I guess heat could be a problem but I would expect the other setup would do the same thing to the other receiver if it was a heat problem. Could possibly be a bad connection or cable that when it gets hot it moves apart internally just enough to disconnect. Thats one of those problems that will drive you nuts. The Chieta is a good switch but I don't think you would need a 22k tone switch with standard LNBs. Just my way of looking at it.

Thanks..If I experience the same problem tomorow when the weather is hot,I will test the cables with a multimeter, specially the one that show no signal.Maybe the one from the lnb to the switch. This standard LNB with 2 outputs..is there a posibility that one side go open when the weather is hot???Anyway to check them with a meter??
Is working fine now, I did this test....selected 2 channels on diferent sats(119/110)and change channels a few times and it switched sats nicelly.
If the weather could be the issue, maybe I should move to Alaska!!!ha.
    thanks again for your help.

Is your dish pro single, twin or quad. Sounds like twin if you only have 119/110 with 2 cables coming out. In order to connect up to 4 stb's you must use a dp34 switch 119-1 110-2 91-3 NOTE LEGACY LNBS will not work on DP switches, you must use a DP LNB for 91 for this to work

Ok my first question is you have 2 dishes? 1 pointed at 119 and 1 pointed at 110? Secondly with that simple setup it sounds like 1 stb power was left on and the DiSEqC ports were blown, if you are only using ports 1 and 2, shut off power from back, unplug power cable to stb and then unscrew coax cable from back of stb and change cables from 119 port 1 to port 3 and 110 from port 2 to port 4 and see if you get signal (which you probably will) meaning you blew ports 1 and 2. Even the best spaun switches will blow out when switching cables with power to the stb on, front button does nothing. Please post results and let us know.
