Coolsat 5000 Questions PART 2

Hello everyone, I have a coolsat 7100 when I put it in standby mode or cut off it gets stuck and the time justs stays on the same time of when I cut it off. Do any one have suggestions on how to fix this?

Don't turn the receiver off. This last bin has reported freezing in the receiver and remotes inactive.
If it's working, leave it on for now until a fix comes.
Turn rear power off and on and it should all reset.

I was wondering if anybody else is having this problem. I upgraded from CS5000 to CS6100. Problem is that it's been some time now and it hasn't autorolled? I have the current bin in it?

 

Do you have the current bin in it? If so, it should autoroll. But at least you already set urs up. I try to set my cs6100 with the usb drive. (Is a flashdrive supposed to come with the reciever? Because I have a flashdrive, but theres no place to enter it into the back of the reciever.) And I can't find the loader for the cs6100- (its supposed to be the 7000 loader?)

The 6100 uses the 7000/7100 loader. Same thing.
The USB slot is in the front. Open the faceplate door on the right front. It's hidden behind it.

 

My 6100 was scanning for channels automatically but it froze on 18% on 110. What do I do?

 

I set mine up now. It says scramble channel for the last 5 minutes. Did urs autoroll yet?

 

Why is the coolsat 6100 scrambled for me? Does anyone else have that problem?

 

Make sure AR is on, leave on encrypted channel and let AR work. If you notice it takes 30 minutes or more or does not work then its time for factory reset, flash with factory bin, redo settings and then should work immediately. Sometimes from copying file over file after awhile data is left and files become corrupt.

 

AR is on. I waited. I did the factory reset, loaded the factory bin, then the current bin, but it still says scramble channel. (I think I have the right factory bin- Cs6100-v112-factory???)

Still not working...

 

Try manual scan - this last bin isn't the greatest.

Yes! It's working. I had to leave it on channel 170 and then it came several minutes later.

But is there a new factory bin? Do I have to load it?

Just update with the thumb drive. No need to rescan.
Load and picture should come right on.
